Surya Polytechnic College has been established by R.V. Educational Trust. It was the trust mainly focusing on high quality education, contribution of excellent teaching, character building to inculcate high moral ethical and personality development among the youth, in uplifting their professional identity and creating technical excellence with the spark of man making education. This institution was founded on 18-09-2006 at udaya nagar, ammandivilai post.
It covers the area of 160 acres, with recognition of govt. of tamil nadu. A principal who is a man of efficiency and excellence, a team of faculty members imbibes respectability to it. We have well designed 3-storied building with a plinth area of 3000 sq.m, well equipped physics, chemistry, English communication, electronics, electrical, computer laboratories, workshop, drawing halls, library with spacious reading hall, neat and congenial campus, homely atmosphere are some of the artistic and good attributes of our college.
