The Sun Polytechnic college was established in 2006 under the auspices of A.C.P Educational Trust. Currently the college offers three diploma Courses under application to the Directorate osf Technical Education (DOTE) Govt of Tamil Nadu and also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Govt. of India. It is the latest addition to the sun, udaya and surya groups of Institutions.
Sun Polytechnic College is functioning in a sprawling campus of 50 acres located at Erachakulam, 5Kms away from Nagercoil.The atmosphere is conducive for calm and peaceful academic pursuit. the college is well connected to the town by public transport buses.Apart from this the college operate its own transport system for the convenience of the students. In keeping with the spc philosophy, students are provided all facilities to participate actively in several co-curricular and extra- curricular activities. The college has developed excellent facilities and resources such as spacious classrooms ,seminar halls, well equipped laboratories, workshops, well stocked libraries and well qualified faculty. The college has laid emphasis on gust lectures, educational tours and continuous interaction with industries right from its inception.
