UPDATE PHOTOS of Sudharsan Engineering College

The Sudharsan Engineering College (SEC) is one of the leading Engineering Colleges in Tamilnadu. SEC was founded in the year 2000 by the Sudharsan Educational Trust with the aim of disseminating knowledge in the fields of science, engineering and technology in the rural district of Pudukkottai. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to Anna University. All the branches of Engineering and Technology have their own Technical association which organize Technical meetings, symposia, etc. in their respective discipline. National level technical symposia are conducted every year. The valuable inputs gained help the students to hone their technical, managerial and organisational skills.
The college is situated on NH 210 in Sathiyamangalam about 12 km from Pudukkottai. The campus is 40km close to Trichy and 30km to Trichy Anna University. Though it had a humble beginning with three programs and 180 intake, the college soon recorded a meteoric rise. Now it offers nine programs with a total intake of 420 every year.

	Eligibility 1. A pass in H.Sc. (Acadmic with Maths, Physics and Chemistry) with Minimum Marks prescribed by the Govt. of Tamilnadu (or) 2. A pass in H.Sc. (Vocational Stream) For Lateral Entry Scheme : A pass with minimum eligible marks in the Diploma Course of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamilnadu / equivalent course prescribed for the Degree course (or) 2. Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education / Higher Secondary Board of Tamilnadu.
