Voice of God Polytechnic College was established in the year of 2008 to provide value based technical education to the rural & economically backward youngsters. The institute was started with the aim of imparting quality education to all. LIBRARY: The central Library is an independent building occupying 340sq.meter area. Having an excellent collection of more than 8500 volumes of text books for student’s accession. The college has established a digital library with computers and also with high speed internet connectivity. Our library supports the institutes program of study & research. Institute archives, offer access to a wide range of materials both the printed and electronics.
CAFETERIA: A well furnished and spacious cafeteria is available inside the campus to cater the meals and refreshments in hygienic way. Excellent store housing cell sorts of stationeries and other educational needs of the students.
TRANSPORT: The transport section of our college is managed by a transport committee consisting of a transport manager, experienced drivers and high-tech buses. College bus fees are reasonable & lesser than the government and other private transport fare. The busses are operated at the radius of 70 km from college by covering all the towns and places of Namakkal, Trichy, karur and Salem districts.
SPORTS: The department of physical education is equipped with necessary equipments and facilities for regular practice for events such as Handball, Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Badminton, Kabaddi, Table Tennis,etc… 5 acres of ground for all outdoor games and track events and fine art of indoor. The department provides ample opportunity to the students by sending them to participate zonal, District, State and college level tournaments & also friendly matches. Our institute presides as leader for IPAA (Inter Polytechnic Athlete Association) for the academic year of 2011-2012for Salem divisional.
Hostel Facility
Voice of God hostel is simply a home away from home. The institute provides excellent accommodation to its students. Separate hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls. The rooms are furnished with tables and cots for each students in each rooms provided with fans. Some highlighted facilities are separate gym for boys and girls, Internet centre, R.O treated water provided with water coolers and heaters and also television for entertainment.
An exclusive placement and training cell is actively functioning in our college with the aim of 100% placement and achieving till date. The institution is cultivating good industry –institute interaction with our tie-up as M/s. HCL, CROSSFIELD, MICROTEK, NIPPON, SAINTGOBAIN, ADHITYABIRLA, OXFAM,HYUNDAI & J.K TYRES etc…The students were provided separate placement classes in order to develop their knowledge in solving aptitude, reasoning and communication skills in order to face the company needs.
