The College of Veterinary Sciences has a glorious past, formidable present and a promising future for development of veterinary education and research.The Department of Veterinary Parasitology is carrying mainly three activities i.e. Teaching, Research and Extension.
The College has modern laboratory infrastructure suitable for practical training of veterinary professionals.A central laboratory has also been established in the college, the mandate of which is to provide laboratory diagnostic help mainly related to microbiological work to all concerned and to preserve and maintain related material and microbial agents for future use. This college also has a Wildlife Health Centre which focuses on problems related to wildlife health.
