Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) is set-up jointly by Govt. of India and textile industry in 1974 on a 50 acre land at Ghaziabad near national capital New Delhi. It is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Xxl of 1860). NITRA is the only ISO 9001:2000 accredited premier textile research association in the country. NITRA is recognized by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India. Further, NITRA is a Centre of Excellence, duly recognized by Central Govt and State Govt. of U.P., to conduct research and training activities for the complete textile supply chain and is given funds of Rs. 43 crore to strengthen infrastructure facilities. NITRA Technical Campus (NTC) is the academic arm of NITRA set up exclusively to offer AICTE approved B. Tech and PGDM programs in Engineering and Management.

B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering | B.Tech. Textile Technology | Post Graduate Program in Fashion Retail Management

1 .	B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering
	Eligibility Candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together

	Admission Procedure Through UPSEE
	No. of Seats State Govt. has also permitted 20% of total sanctioned seats available in all affiliated Private Institutions to be filled by JEE-Main merit out of which 10% seats will be filled through U.P. domicile candidates on U.P. State merit using state reservation policy, and the remaining of 10% seats will be filled through All India merit candidates without reservation. Thus, 80% of the seats available in B.Tech. will be filled by the UPSEE qualified candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P subject to the eligibility conditions given in this information brochure. If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) before the starting date of counselling.

2 .	B.Tech. Textile Technology
	Eligibility For admission to first year of B. Tech., candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together Admission to second year (lateral entry) - Candidates who have passed three years’ Engg. Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) OR ‘whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh’ and he/she has passed three years Engg. Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture), are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology. Candidates who have passed ‘three years B.Sc. degree and passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject from any recognized University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engineering/ Technology.

3 .	Post Graduate Program in Fashion Retail Management
	Eligibility Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized university with minimum 50% marks with a valid MAT/CAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA score. Candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination can also apply.
	Admission Procedure Admission to the programme shall be based on the candidates' performance in Graduation, MAT/CAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA score, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
