	Eligibility 10+2 with 40 percent marks

	Admission Procedure Admission will be strictly on merit. Seats are limited. Subject Combination : Mathematics/Quantitative Technique, Economics, Computer Science/ Application with English (General) and Punjabi (General).

2 .	B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce)
	Eligibility 10+2 with min.40% marks in any stream. Admission shall be on first come first serve and merit basis.

	Other Details Apparel-designing is a task of creating clothing for a wide range of occasions and life styles. This includes knowledge of customer/client behavior & interaction. BD curriculum deals with these questions by covering the development of apparel from sources of inspiration to finished garments. Students learn to observe and incorporate details & ideas for wearable clothing. The course trains one to pursue careers as designers, design-managers, fashion-forecasters, fashion-stylists, costume-designers, fashion-merchandisers, entrepreneurs, etc.

	Other Details Textile Designing combines the love of colour, painting and drawing and the satisfaction of working with fibre & cloth patterns in painting, printed & woven forms. Students are taught analysis of basic fibres, spinning, weaving, dyeing-techniques, printing-methods, block-printing, screen-printing, surface-ornamentation, etc. The course prepares students for career as textile designers, colorists, weaving consultants, entrepreneurs, teachers, etc.

	Other Details Interior designing as a discipline includes space-planning and designing of homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, departmental stores, banks, hospitals, boutiques, etc. The course work entails planning of environment in public and private spaces in traditional & contemporary style. BD curriculum teaches students to develop technical knowledge in drawing, drafting, space-planning, furniture-design, construction-technology, lighting, budget-control & project-management. This course prepares students as professional interior-designers who can practise as freelancers or can get attached to professional architectural firms. They can venture into furniture-manufacturing units & accessories also.

10 .	Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication
	Eligibility 10+2 of any recognized Board or University in any stream with at least 50 percent marks

	Eligibility This course is open to the students who have passed BD, B.Arch., Bachelor of Town Planning or any other equivalent examination with at least 45% marks. A student who does not clear semester-I can appear in that paper along with her semester-III and the student who has not cleared semester-II can appear in semester-IV

19 .	Master of Journalism and Mass Communication
	Eligibility Admission to the First Semester of MA (Mass Journalism & Mass Communication) course will be open to any person who has passed Bachelor/Master degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or an 'equivalent degree recognized by the Guru Nanak Dev University with not less than 50 percent marks. Candidate will be eligible for sitting in the examination of each Semester after being certified for the following by the Head of the Institution of having been enrolled in the college in the course, having a good moral character and having attended 75 percent of the lectures delivered.

20 .	Master of Performing Arts (M.P.A)
	Eligibility Any student who has secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in graduation from any recognized university listed by UGC OR any other examination with 50% marks in aggregate recognized as equivalent to above by Guru Nanak Dev Univeristy, Amritsar.
