IIPM was set-up by ICICI Limited in 1983 with active support from Larsen & Toubro Limited, Usha Martin, SAIL, Tata Steel and Government of Orissa.
IIPM Library plays a vital role in meeting the present and anticipated future needs of its engineering community by selecting, acquiring and disseminating appropriate engineering, technical and managerial information.
omputer Laboratory:There is a well-equipped Computer Laboratory. It is designed, laid out and equipped so scientifically that students and trainees can spend hours together at the terminal without fatigue
Hostel Facility
The Institute has a self contained hostel with 100 seats on twin sharing basis. A part of the hostel is equipped with AC rooms for senior level participants. Other facilities include excellent dining room, AC lounge with TV, Hall for Indoor games, communication center with Internet facility and sports field for outdoor games.
