Gold Field College of Education, Village Chhainsa, Teh. Ballabgarh Faridabad was established under the aegis of Gold Field Shiksha Sanstha in 2006, with the primary aim to provide value based, joboriented quality education to the rural population. It is an unaided, coeducational, secondary teacher Education College. For reaching the college the means of transport are Haryana and Private Roadways Buses, Auto rickshaws and tempos. However, the college also provides bus service to its students. The college was recognized by NCTE, Jaipur vide its letter no. NRC/NCTE/F73/HR-352/17975-81 dated 30.05.2007 for 100 seats and for additional 100 seats vide its letter no. NRC/NCTE/F-7/HR-840/28423-29 Dated 21.09.2007and corrigendum to the order No F. NRC/NCTE/F-7/HR-840/28423-29 Dated 21.09.2007 then letter no. NRC/NCTE/F-7/HR-840/33159- 33165 dated 28.11.2007, our college got permission to start M.Ed. Course with 25 students and granted approval by NCTE vide its letter no. F.NRC/NCTE/HR-1223/2008/60145-151 dated 13.09.2008. The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak and is functioning on an independent Campus spread over one acre of land, which belongs to Gold Field Shiksha Sanstha.
The college physical infrastructure consists of Classrooms, Science laboratories, Computer Room, Psychology laboratory, E.T. Laboratory, Home Science Laboratory, Library, Vehicle Parking Lot, and facilities for indoor and outdoor games. Including the Principal the teaching faculty comprises 16 teachers appointed on a regular basis. Out of 16 teachers, 04 are Ph. D. in Education, 03 are NET (Education) 6 are M.Phil. and 04 are M.A. M.Ed. The non-teaching staff consists of 03 clerks, 01 laboratory attendant, 01 file restorer, and 06 are supporting staff viz. 02 peons, 02 chowkidars, 01 mali and 01 sweeper the total being eleven. Hostel accommodation is available at Faridabad for both male and female students. Gold Field college of Education was started on 18th December, 2006, with the approval of the Govt. of Haryana, Thus as on date the college offers Bachelors and Masters Degree courses in Education
