Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies , popularly known as GITS was established by Geetanjali Education Society in the year 2002-03. The institute is recognized by AICTE and Govt of Rajasthan and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota to provide technical and professional education to the youth in general and also the tribal people of the region in particular.It is one of the well institutes of Rajasthan with the focused objective to provide quality education in Engineering, Management and Computer Applications with emphasis on all round development of personality in compliance with the requisite industry standards.
Library & Book-Bank : GITS has a very spacious, modern library which is extremely rich in resources for learning, research and general awareness.Latest information in terms of text & reference books, magazines, periodicals, journals, CD's and videos have been procured for intellectual nourishment. The collection of books in the library covers almost all the thrust areas of Engineering, Management and Applied Science.
Lecture Theatres:The institute has large lecture theatres, adequate to accommodate 120 students in each, scientifically designed. Visibility, acoustics and sitting comfort have been specially taken care of.
Amphitheatre : The amphitheatre provides the perfect ambience for students to relax and enjoy a variety of cultural programmes organized by institution. Here various workshops, seminars and standing performances take place. This provides unique opportunity to the less privileged students who come here, participate and talented students.
Hostel Facility
The College has separate girls and boys hostel facility. The Hostel have excellent standard of living with round-the clock availability of basic facility .The hostel rooms are spacious well ventilated and well organized. All Hostels are Wi-Fi Enabled.
The students are placed in accordance with their interest and skill set to organizations where they can work; increase their creativity & innovation in development of technology. The college is rigorously working to provide excellent summer as well as final placements for the students by arranging on-campus as well as off-campus placement training.
