The establishment of HIET (Haryana Institute of Engg. & Tech.),is conceived by a team of eminent and committed academicians and educationists with a mission to act as an idealist and facilitator for students to develop their full potential and achieve greater success by providing them education, training, consultancy and research facilities through pioneering initiatives and imparting of appropriate technical tools, techniques, ethics and values.HIET was established in the year 2008 by Dr. Puran Chand Dharmarth Trust . The achievements in the short span of two years show the determination of the management and teachers to attain the goal. This is just the beginning and the aspiration is to make this a number one institute with a focus on higher education in technology and management and the process is underway.

1 .	B.Tech. Civil Engineering
	Eligibility The candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from recognized board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects namely Chemistry, Bio Technology, Computer Science, Biology Or Have passed Diploma Course in Engineering/ Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent Diploma Examination. Direct Admission for Diploma Holders in second Year (III Semester)(LEET) - The candidates who have passed three-year diploma and have secured 50% or more marks are eligible for direct admission in 2nd year under Lateral Entry Scheme. OR Should have passed the degree in science (B.Sc.) with mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate.(Kurukshetra University may prescribe compensatory courses to make up the deficiencies for diploma holders or B.Sc. Degree holders, who are admitted through lateral entry scheme.)
