St. Xavier's College was affiliated to the University of Bombay. The College is a Catholic Minority College, administered under the Provisions of the Indian Constitution, to promote the welfare of the Minority community and to extend its services to all other communities in India, so as to contribute to the harmony and integration of Indian society.
Hostel Facility
We have a hostel on campus for male students of the Senior College only, which can accommodate 60 students with all the facilities for study, recreation and common living. St. Xavier’s College Placement Centre: We know that with the reputation that the College has, it is not difficult for the majority of our students to find employment. However, an organized effort to put students in touch with Reputed Employers and also to train them in the writing of Resumes and to acquaint them with the Selection Process of Corporates, was the need of the hour. Some of our Teaching Staff have taken responsibility for this Centre and it has already received an enthusiastic response from Industry and Students.
