Mahendhira Teacher Training institute is a unit of Mahendra Educational Trust established in 2005 to impart the Professional course of Diploma in Teacher Education who seek to become primar school teachers. The Library Has numerous reference books, journals and dailies to upgrade the knowledge of the students by extensive reading. Separate Laboratories for physical science, biological science, educating technology and psychology with adequate equipments and the computer laboratory with internet connection is available. A Well Furnished canteen providing quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is functioning at reasonable rates. There is a large playground with separate courts for the major games.

Separate Hostels for boys and girls are available. The Hostel has a homely atmosphere with stern and casing wardens.
