The green, clean and new 2.5 acre campus of Camellia Institute of Engineering is located at Madyamgram near Kolkata Airport. The choice of Madyamgram is because it is close to nature, full of life and to our roots. It fulfils Camellia group's desire to touch the lives of rural suburban India with modern knowledge of technology and management. Camellia Institute of Engineering is approved by AICTE and affiliated to WBUT.
The Institute has modern infrastructure and facilities, conducive to teaching-learning process. All laboratories have been set up as per syllabus. CIE aspires be the centre for excellence. The college is built on a sprawling campus of 2.5 acre of land amidst a quite ambience best suited for higher education. The college has spacious building with Lab., Workshop, Library facility. The institute has the state of the art infrastructure including air conditioned spacious classrooms, well equipped laboratories, computer centers, library. The institute has a huge library where you can find National, International Journals, Books, Magazines etc.
At the verge of entering in the third year, our institute with the liaison with our very strong and committed team of Training & Placement Cell is strongly focused. Students are also encouraged to pursue summer training / inter courses at various industries and institutes levels time to time. The College organizes several events and encourages students to participate in various extra-curricular activities like tree-plantation, blood donation camps, tech events, and so on. Every year our students collect used clothing and donate those to The Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math.There is a special cell under the guidance and mentorship of the HODs that looks after the holistic development of the students.
