P.D.M. Polytechnic, a self-financing institute made its modest beginning in 1996, since then it is rapidly gaining recognition & popularity among the discerning academic circles.The Institute is committed to the development of professional engineers to face the challenges of the rapidly changing industrial world. The Institute is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula. Presently we offer three year Diploma Courses in the disciplines of Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering
The campus is delightfully planned & adorned with impressive building, lawns shaded avenues to make the environment completely eco-friendly. The main academic block is the center of academic activities and presently houses all the departments of the institute that include laboratories, lecture rooms, tutorial rooms & staff rooms. In addition the institution has a student center with all basic amenities like: canteen, shopping center, telephone, fax, Photostat & common room etc. Besides above, the institute also houses good library, play grounds, hostels (separate for boys & girls) and well equipped workshops maintaining the clean environment & excellence in education and training which is the motto of the institute.
Hostel Facility
The Institute maintains eight well furnished hostels (4 for boys and 4 for girls) with all the modern facilities like water coolers, geysers, television, telephone and air coolers for the students.
Training & placement of students is one of the main objective of this institute. The institute is very much concerned with necessity and importance of training & placement right from the inception. As a result, a full fledged training & placement cell has been established in this institute headed by Training & Placement officer has been set up for the sake of students bright future in the technical field..The training & placement cell is provided all necessary facilities required for the smooth & effective functioning. The cell also arranges industrial training for all the final year students in reputed organizations & puts its best efforts for their placement. In this context, the institute keeps regular contact with various industries through letters, telephones, E-Mail consultants & personal visits.Experts from industries and other professional organizations are invited for delivering Lectures/Seminars to the students to make them aware of the latest developments in the industry. The cell also organizes entrepreneurial awareness camps, workshops and seminars to encourage the students to become entrepreneurs.
