Shivalik College of Engineering is a co-educational institution, constituent under the Rijan Educational Society. SCE is a group of eminent people having experience of running academic institutions over two decades. SCE is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi and affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee with the objective of imparting quality technical education through research and innovation. Shivalik College of Engineering has a sprawling campus stretches over an area of 16 acres in the foothills of Shivalik range of Himalayan Mountains, in the state capital region of Dehradun. The institute is exquisitely designed, well laid out lush green lawns, a series of imposing buildings offer an idyllic environment. It is situated on Shimla Bypass Road, 13 KM from ISBT, 16 KM from the Railway Station and 40 KM from Jolly Grant Airport.
At SCE, atmosphere is relaxed and friendly where students have liberty to perform to the best of their ability. The College has outstanding facilities, well stocked library, state-of-the-art building and sporting complex, cafetaria set within campus in which our students and staff take great pride. SCE have unique arrays of resources, in line with global standards, dedicated to the requirements of students their progr am of study. Facilities, standards are regularly reviewed and updated to cater the need of emerging technology. The library is well maintained, updated, computerized with rich collection of course related books , reference books, magazines and national & international journals. The library has over 25, 000 books and more than 400 e-Journals, Project Report, CD's, DVD's and relevant software in the field of Engineering and Technology.
Hostel Facility
A comfort hostel facility is available for 450 students. The campus hostel is su-rrounded by lush green lawns and play fields. Library, power backup and computer facilities are provided in the campus till late hours to facilitate hostellers. A resident hostel superintendent looks after the administration. Management too pro-vided residential facility to faculty mem-bers within the campus. Separate hostels for boys and girls based on first come first served.
