ShriRam College of Engineering & Management (SRCEM) was established in 1998 by "Dayal Seva Evam Shiksha Samiti, Morena". Since inception SRCEM is endeavoring for the quality and excellence in technical education. Within a short span of time, SRCEM has earned reputation not only in the Gwalior-Chambal region but also in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. In true sense, it has become a synonym of excellence in the field of technical education which is evident from the fact that a large number of students are securing high merit positions in the State University (RGPV) examination every year. SRCEM is now known for its high standards and unmatched facilities for the inculcation of quest for the technical learning. The institute has come up as one of the leading college of Engineering & Management, vibrant with the intellectual energy and commitment of its faculty members.
Spread over 50 acres of land on the National Expressway, popularly known as AB Road, the college has its own fully developed campus, situated at Banmore, just at a small distance of 12 kms from Gwalior City. The location of the college provides a serene environment just a few kms away from hustle and bustle from the fast developing Gwalior city. Majestic college building, constructed with attractive look, covers an area of approximately 27,000 sq. mtrs. The building, well recognized as one of the finest in the region, is surrounded by lush green environment which is very congenial for learning and studies. Institute has spacious and properly ventilated 25 class / tutorial rooms, two drawing halls, common rooms for boys and girls and a huge library, rich in books and international technical journals, 41 laboratories, well equipped with modern equipments of state of art technology are the core of teaching-learning process. Workshop of the college is one of its own type in separate building with a carpet area of 1400 sq. mtrs and contains all the basic and necessary tools and equipments required for imparting practical training/experiments to the engineering students.
