Established in 1945. Moolji Jaith College is the premier academic institution and senior most college of the North Maharashtra region. The college is located in 25 acres sprawling campus with absolutely serene environment. The college provides instruction in various undergraduate and post graduate courses in the faculties of Arts, Commerce and Science along with full fledged Junior college. The college was affiliated to Poona University and then to the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon in 1990. It is a NAAC reaccredited ''A'' Grade (CGPA 3.63) College with an honor of "College with Potential for Excellence" by UGC, New Delhi. It has been certified ISO 9001 : 2008. The college is selected for "Star College Scheme of DBT, New Delhi". The college provides postgraduate education in 16 Science departments along with UGC sponsored post graduate diploma courses.

Hostel Facility
There is a wide range of accomm-odation for students in Boys and Girls Hostel. Hostel admissions are given on merit basis. Repeaters are not admitted to hostels. There is separate mess for boy and girls. For details, refer to Hostel Brochure.

A Special placement & counselling cell has been established in college which conducts campus interviews, publishes placement broacher and engages training sessions for students. The students are provided guidance & counselling for their career places & placements. The College has a placement cell headed by a placement officer. The prime objective of the cell is to provide employment opportunities to the students who qualify in various undergraduate and post graduate courses. Through this cell, various prospective employers are contacted, campus interviews are organized and students are getting a good career plan.
