Progressive Engineering College, sponsored by S.R.K. Memorial educational society, Hyderabad, was established during the academic year 2002-03 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and recognition of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Canteen: The College has a well maintained canteen with a seating capacity of 200 students. Fresh and Hygienic food items are available at reasonable rates.
Library: The college central library has a floor area of 700 Sq.Mtr. and currently has 2,541 Titles and 17,618 Volumes. The college is subscribed with 80 National and 35 International journals and is a member of SONET, an A.P. Government sponsored "Society for Networking for Excellence in Technical Education". The college library is operational between 9 am and 6 pm on all regular working days.
The PEC placement cell was established in 2005 with a prime objective of creating career opportunities for promising PEC students in reputed corporates towards meeting aspirations of all the stakeholders.
