The Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls was established in 1974 and was brought under the aegis of the Apeejay Education Society in Dec. 1990. The name ‘Apeejay’ signifies and represents the ideal combination of modern and traditional values, spreading the light of knowledge and preparing the youth for the future, thus contributing towards the task of nation-building. The college is flourishing under the guidance of eminent educationist, industrialist and philanthropist Dr. Stya Paul. It is situated at Charkhi Dadri - a remote area of southern Haryana, about 100 km. from New Delhi and 28 km. from its district headquarters in Bhiwani. The college is spread over 5.25 acres of land in lush green environment. Continual, persuasive and sustained efforts have yielded results and the student strength has risen from 200 to 1550 in the past decade. The college not only caters effectively to the needs of the modern times in the form of many professional courses but also offers some traditional courses that promote the inculcation of values among the youth.. Being the only girls' college in the city and its surrounding area, it serves the educational need of girls living in the radius of about 15 kms. Within the last decade, the college has metamorphosed into a force to reckon with, by achieving in every field - adding colours, hues, nuances, and brightness to its every dimension.
