Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) | Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)

1 .	Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
	Eligibility Passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board, University or council with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
	Duration 4 ½ years
	Medium of Instruction English

	Other Details There shall be 6 months of internship after the final examination for the candidate who have successfully passed their examination. No one shall be awarded the degree certificate without successfully completing 6 months of internship. The compulsory rotatory internship period will cover clinical branches concerned with Physiotherapy such as Orthopaedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurology including ICU, Leprosy, Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive and Critical Care, Sports etc.

2 .	Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)
	Eligibility Candidates who have passed B.Sc. (PT)/ BPT degree/ BPT Condensed degree (2 years) from this University or any other University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent by The West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Candidates from other Universities will have to produce Migration Certificate from their respective Institutes.
	Duration 2 years
	Admission Procedure An entrance examination of eligible applicants will be conducted by the WBUHS as per notification
