Mahila Industrial Training Institute, Jodhpur has been established with an objective of ensuring a steady flow of skilled women to reduce unemployment amongst the educated girls by equipping them with required discipline, education and skill for suitable industrial employment as well as self-employment. Also enable them to identify and enhance their multifaceted talents with firm and focused mind with an eye to equip themselves to face future challenges of global competitions.It has been set-up under the Craftsman Training Scheme affiliated to National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), through the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGE&T), Govt. of India under the ministry of Labour, New Delhi. It has been established on February 8, 1990 in the premises of production centre and later shifted to its own campus on Shri Krishna Janmstmi of Vikram Samvat 2058, Sukla Chaturdashi of Magha in Pushya Nakshatr i.e. August 12th, 2001.
Practical Laboratries: Fully air conditioned, high technology, practical labs with attractive interiors.
Institute have its own data based placement cell to provide best job opportunities for pass out candidates. Many MNCs visited this institute every year. Current 72 candidates selected by US based Hollister Pvt ltd.
