Dr. Virendra Swarup Educational Foundation, Uttar Pradesh.(VSEF) was established in the year 1989 in the memory of Late Dr. Virendra Swarup, MLC & Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council and an eminent educationalist. Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies is a part of VSEF. VSICS is the first self-financed institute in Kanpur to impart computer education in the form of MCA.
Library: The heart of any Institute is its library. Our library is well stocked with a variety of books that has more than 2000 titles in over 11,000 multiple copies. It is regularly updated with the latest titles from India as well as overseas.
Seminar Halls: 3 Seminar halls having seating capacity of 150 is utilized for Seminars, Conferences, Guest Lectures, Group Discussion, Debates and in-house Competitions. It is equipped with the latest audio visual gadget.
Sports: Only a healthy body can develop and maintain a healthy mind.Hence the Institute Promotes fitness and health as a regular activity. The Institute boasts of a compound field for Football, Cricket, Hockey, Boxing & Athletics in addition to a Badminton and Handball courts. The Institute provides facilities for the conduction of the above mentioned games. The Institute also has an indoor games room with Chess, Carrom and Table Tennnis facilities.
