Government PG College came into existence in July 1983. Since then it has been expanding continuously in terms of educational programmes and infrastructure. Over the years the institute has made consistent contribution in the field of academics and co-curricular activities. In addition to Bachelor degree courses in Arts, Science and Commerce the college offers professional degree courses in BBA, BMC and BCA. The college also offers Post graduate degree courses like M.A. English, M.Com and M.A. History, M.A. Psychology,M.A. Political Science, PGDCA, B.P.Ed. A wide variety of Add on Courses are also being offered to the students to facilitate them to enhance certain job oriented skills.
