Government College Bawal was established on 1 July 1974 as a public college organically 'Educational and Cultural Board of the public uproar caused by the storm on January 14, 1980, by the acquisition by the Government of Haryana Government has entered college. The Government College Bawal is one oldest college in the region. The college serve 1000 number of students each year. 100 students get graduation and post graduation degree each year from the college. The ratio of college students in Govt. sector & private sector is higher than other colleges. Most of students are soon employed immediate after passing their college time.
