Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering, established in 1998, is a Government aided Engineering College in the district of Bankura. Late Jyoti Basu, the then honorable Chief Minister, Government of West Bengal inaugurated this degree Engineering Institute on 19th September, 1998. It is the proud recipient of the most valuable accolade in the form of Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP – Phase II), a MHRD approved World Bank project.
A four storied lofty building of the Institute houses, the separate class rooms, tutorial rooms, all required departmental laboratories of the department of CSE, IT, ECE, EIE ,EE ,ME,CE, drawing hall, modern Language Lab., Common room, seminar hall, conference Hall.
Hostel Facility
Accommodation for boys, girls students in 31 acres of hostel campus comprising of 2 boys hostel & 2 ladies Hostel.
Training and Placement Department of BUIE provides an effective career launch pad for the final year students. It has grown steadily in all respects over the last decade and a half by satisfying the career aspirations of most. It is one of the pioneers amongst the contemporary engineering institutions of our state by virtue of early establishment.
