Swami Vivakananda School of Diploma, Durgapur popularly known as SVSD was set up on June 2012 under the overall management of Sanaka Educational Trust. SVSD management is deeply committed to gradually build the college as one of the best seats of Polytecnic Education in Eastern India with domestic and global requirements in view.The college is affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education(WEBSCTE).
In the year 2010, the institute was converted to an AICTE approved integrated campus and the name was subsequently changed to Sanaka Educational Trust’s Group of Institutions (SETGOI).
Hostel Facility
Equipped with broadband Internet facilities, the hostel rooms are quite spacious to ensure hassle-free accommodation and to ward off claustrophobia. Moreover, to give the boarders a homely feeling and a breathing space only a specified number of students are accommodated in each room. All these help the students to spend their hostel life in harmony with themselves and those around them.
Scholarship Facility
The SETGOI management provides financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of society by waiving their tuition fees. Who are taking admission through counseling under TFW scheme, also facilitating students to avail different Govt. Scholarship schemes.
