Janta Vidya Mandir Ganpat Rai Rasiwasia College (co-educational) was established in July, 1965 under the aegis of Dadri Education Society and the dynamic leadership of late Sh. Ram Krishan Gupta, Freedom Fighter and Ex-M.P. with a lofty aim of kindling the light of knowledge in this educationally backward region and thus to bring educational, social, economic and cultural upliftment of the people of the area. The college owes much to late Seth Shri Ganpat Rai Rasiwasia who donated generously for the establishment of this college and after whom the college has been named. The College is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, one of the leading Universities of Haryana. The College follows the curricula prescribed by the University for U.G and P.G. Classes. The college was last accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council, Bangalore in 2003 and was graded B++
The college has full fledged and impressive building containing academic and administrative blocks, stadium, gymnasium, auditorium, drama and music club and well stocked library complemented by green lawns and trees within an area of 10 acres. The College has a very spacious and impressive building containing administrative and an academic block. There are about 35 airy, spacious and furnished rooms with seating capacity of 80 to 100 students. Separate departmental rooms have been availed to the faculty of different departments which also house for tutorial periods.
