Arya Kanya PG College

Arya Kanya Postgraduate College Jhansi, established in 1962 was the only seat for Higher Education in the entire Bundelkhand Region for Girls / Women. In the year 1963 the college was affiliated with Agra University. Then After establishment of Kanpur University it was affiliated with Kanpur University. At present, after the establishment of Bundelkhand University in the year 1986, the College is affiliated with Bundelkhand University Jhansi(U.P.) which is NAAC Accredited University. The result of College remains 95-100 percent since 1962 till date. It is a Grant-in-Aid institution and approved by U.G.C. under 2(F) &12(B) It is very prestigious & renowned girls/ women college for higher education in U.P. The Director,Higher Education Allahabad U.P. has announced this college as "A" Grade institution for Quality Education.

There is a good collection of books of different subjects in the Library. The Library is enriched with recently published books. In the Reading Room, besides the Daily News Papers, Fortnightly and monthly Magazines are also available. Local, state and national news papers are also available in the Reading Room.
