M.D.S.D Girls College, Ambala City, affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra is a girls Institution with both Arts, Commerce and Science faculties B.SC. in Computer Aided Textile and Fashion Designing, PGDCA and M.A. in, Yoga and Health Therapy.
The College is Grant-in-Aid college in which 95% of the salary of the regular employees is paid by Govt. Of Haryana and 5% by the college Managing Committee. The details of the monthly remuneration of employees is available in the college.
The college Managing Committee works according to the Memorandum and Articles of Associations (Constitution) of Madho Ram Daya Ram Sanatam Dharam Girls College Ambala City, available in the college.
The College has been accredited ‘B+’ by the NAAC. The college is located on the outskirts of Ambala City, about 1 k.m form G.T Road, Manji Sahib Gurudwara Chowk.
Keeping in view the demands of the time, girls are encouraged, directed and provided Vocational trainings to enable them to become successful entrepreneurs in future. Many vocational courses running in Commerce, Computers & Arts bear testimony to the fact.
The College has maintained its tradition of achieving excellent results in all the classes in University Examinations. Beside the result being ‘100% pass percentage’ in most the classes most of times, our students keep figuring in the top ten positions of University Merit list.
