Chhotubhai Gopalbhai Patel Institute of Technology (CGPIT)is a a self-financed engineering college established by Bardoli Pradesh Kelavani Mandal (BPKM) education trust under the roof of Uka Tarsadia University (UTU) in the year 2009 with the view of educating and training future professionals to lead in today's competitive environment and to meet the needs of globalization and industrialism by providing dynamic and conductive learning environment.
Library:The modern library has great responsibility in harnessing and utilization of information. The library and information centers strive for high quality of library services which emphasis the actual delivery of information rather than actual delivery of documents for meeting their generic as well as specific needs of the users.
Auditorium :The College has a fully air conditioned well furnished Auditorium fitted with LCD Projector & sound proof Audio-Video facilities which promises to make events unforgettable. It has a seating capacity of over of people where all presentations, group discussions and all other innovative plans are organized. It was established in and is named in memory of late Dr. Jatin Desai.
Computer Centre: CGPIT has fully Wi-fi enabled campus for uninterrupted flow of information to integrate the education process & develop new mind sets. WiFi is expected as part of today's campus experience both from an educational perspective as well as from a social perspective.The hostels are connected to the campus via the campus wide wi-fi network which enables the residents to browse the internet and access the online library resources for their academic and research related work.
Hostel Facility
CGPIT offers excellent hostel facilities (separate for both boys and girls) within the campus for optimum utilization of student's time for overall personality development. The hostels offer "a home away from home" aura for hundreds of students. The aim is to create ideal conducive and encouraging conditions for students to stay focused on academic accomplishments. All rooms are quite airy and ventilated. Round the clock security is provided to the hostellers.
