Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology in Rajkot was established by Gujarat Shree. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU).
Library :Central Library occupies a place of pride in Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology and is an essential component of the institute's outstanding research and education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship. The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.
Transportation
The Institute provides transport facilities to the students and the staff from Rajkot. At present, there are 6 buses catering to the needs of the staff and the students of the Institution. The number of buses is going to get increased in the very near future. Key routes are defined across the city and these routes reach the nooks and corners of Rajkot city. The timing is scheduled in such a way that all the buses reach/leaved the College campus in time
The strong and committed Training and Placements cell further catalyzes the process of developing Highly skilled technocrats by providing a platform for practical knowledge and industry interfaces. The single minded and committed objective of the Training & Placement cell is to provide employment opportunities and world class training to the Darshan students in the leading organizations.
