Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar was founded in 2004.The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE).
The institute provides facilies like Library,well maintained Laboratories,Internet,Canteen,Student store,Gymkhana,SBI ATM,Hostel for students.
Library: As the basis of quality education, the library of the institute has been developed quite efficiently by the supportive faculties and is being updated constantly in order to avail our students' maximum knowledge and provide them a base to explore the future. It helps to keep the students updated with the latest technology and trends.
Laboratories:Institute has well developed laboratories containing latest equipments and well qualified staff for nurturing the students towards their bright future.
Hostel Facility
At present Government quarters of chh-type are shared with us for boys hostel and ch-type quaters for girls hostel. The hostel consist of all basic amenities required for healthy living of an individual. The hostel is also provided with a television and various outdoor sports equipment for entertainment. Along with this institute is planning with other government departments for hostel accommodation.
Well known companies like Essar Group, Persistent Ltd., Zeus technology etc. held on-campus/off-campus interviews and absorbed the highly qualified students.
