An admiration in the field of Engineering education, Joginpally B.R.Engineering College, a part of the visionary Sri J.Bhaskaro Rao’s accomplishment, observed its inception in the year 2002 with the lofty aim of providing quality professional education and meeting the rising expectations of the student community in Andhra Pradesh. J.B.R Educational Society has been working relentlessly towards the objective of achieving excellence in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Management, Hospitality and Information Technology.J.B.R.E.C was sponsored and established by J.B.R. Educational Society that had been a wide canopy, created by progressive, dynamic and productive management, for a lot of institutes marked for excellencies in academic records. Recognized by AICTE and affiliated to JNTU the institute has had its vision, mission and the quality policy and objectives as indicated in the annexure enclosed herewith.
The central Library, JBREC Library is housed in an area of about –1410 Sqm. and organized into various sections, which are manned by professionally qualified staff.
Hostel Facility
JB Group of Education institutes are providing hygienic hostel facility for engineering students were functioning since 14 SEP 04.We are having separate hostels, which consist of 162 rooms for boys and 96 rooms for girls with excellent facilities. We are having dedicated warden and some of the senior faculties will taking care of hostel residents.
The main objective of training and Placement cell at Joginpally B.R Engineering College is to provide personal and career related support to the students with special emphasis on training the students on employability skills and ultimately provide placement in various Industries/Organizations/MNCs by arranging campus recruitment drives. We are in touch with Organisations like M/s. Infosys, Cognizant Technologies, Wipro
Technologies, Satyam Computers, L&T Infotech, M/s Virtusa, GTL Ltd, Computer
Science Corporation, Cognizant Technology, and other reputed Organisations and they
have included our college in their list of recruitments. Apart from Placement Activities, we
are preparing the Students on Soft Skills also. We have an MOU with M/s. Globarena,
who have provided the Software for communication skills. We have CD’s for Aptitude
Tests, Psychometric Tests etc., so that the Students can get trained on them. We have also
established a lab for Aptitude and Technical skills learning by the Students so that they
can fare well in the Interviews. Also we are conducting in house soft skills training
programme as part o their curriculum.
