Tika Ram P.G. Girls College is the manifestation of the dream seen by the legendary figure Ch. Tika Ram. The seed sown by him has grown into full tree sprouting its branches towards the empowerment and emancipation of girls. It was established in 1993 with a view to instill moral & spiritual values in the students. It was christened as Tika Ram P.G. Girls College in the memory of Ch. Tika Ram in our view, the ultimate purpose is to empower the girls students especially quality education. The faculty and administration of Tika Ram College is committed to provide the students with the finest education and prepare the next generation leaders. The college is steered by a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty of M.Phil’s, Ph.D, UGC NET and J.R.F’S. They keep themselves abreast of the latest developments by pursuing research, higher studies, attending Seminars or Workshops.
Tika Ram Educational Society under its able leadership has provided exemplary support towards building and the infrastructure of the college. Today the institution has a sprawling campus, well equipped computer labs, furnished with latest technology and internet facility, Physics lab, Chemistry labs, Geography lab, Psychology Lab, Physical education lab, Functional English Lab for the students. College often organizes various workshops and National Seminars time to time for the benefits of the students.
Hostel Facility
A well furnished hostel is also provided to the outside students with a lodging capacity of 250 students.
College have training and placement cell which provides immense support for arranging training and placement opportunities for our students. This cell is constantly working towards achieving the ultimate goal of student employment in industries and in different public and private sectors.On regular interval, college organizes different activities and workshops to enhance team leader, team player qualities of the students.. This cell aims at grooming of students by enabling their technical & managerial skills. The cell further guides the students to prepare for different national / state level competancy exams to get qualified for varios levels jobs in public sector and also cater the need of self-employment through technical & managerial assistance thus enabling the future entrepreneurs to start their own ventures.
