RKSD College of Pharmacy, Kaithal came into existence in 2004 with the introduction of B. Pharmacy Course with an intake of 60 seats and later on adding D. Pharmacy course in 2006 with an intake of 60 seats. Recently in the session 2012-13 M. Pharmacy course with specialization of Pharmaceutics with as intake of 24 students has been added. And Intake of D. Pharmacy course has been raised from 60 to 120 seats. B. Pharmacy & M. Pharmacy course are affiliated from Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Science, Rohtak while D. Pharmacy course has its affiliation from Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula.
The College has well lit Class Rooms, Laboratories, Library, Instrumentation Rooms, Machine Rooms, Animal House, Museum and Seminar Hall etc. 18 highly qualified and dedicated teachers take care of academic needs of the students and also mentor them for growth within Pharmacy Profession. The College Library House above 5000 text & reference books, National & International Journals, Multimedia teaching kits, online E-Library & E-Journals facilities.
College has earned a good name among Pharmacy fraternity which is reflected by excellent University & Board results and placement records. To make the students professionally strong, regular industrial visits, industrial training and seminars / workshops are arranged. Many pass out of our College are serving in reputed & multinational Pharmaceutical Industries as production, marketing, quality control and research personals and other are excelling in academics & research
