R.K.S.D. College of Education stands out all over Haryana as a unique institute of Teacher Education for its distinct inovative training methods, consisting of practical exposure to actual teaching to groom the pupil teachers to be multi skilled and effective in their noble, yet challenging task of teaching. It has made a name of its own in the area by showing excellent results in academic, cultural and sports activities. The College is working on the self financing basis as per the norms and guidelines of the N.C.T.E., State Government and the affiliating University i.e. Kurukshetra University , Kurukshetra. The University and the Govt. of Haryana, carry out the inspection every year to ascertain and evaluate the physical & human resources and functioning of the college as per prescribed norms
