Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad was established in 1989. It ranks among the premiere hotel management institutes of India. IHM Aurangabad is a joint venture between Maulana Azad Educational Trust (MAET) and the Taj Group of Hotels. The institute is approved by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is a member of Leading Hotel Schools of the World (LHSW). IHM Aurangabad has its affiliation with University of Huddersfield, UK.
Training restaurant on campus, caters to practical Food and Beverage Service training, while the adjoining Taj Residency is the venue for on-the-job training. Our Basic and Advanced Training Kitchens and Housekeeping and Front Office laboratories assist us in transferring classroom learning to real work environment.
Computer lab: The computer laboratory with over 120 terminals is spread over 4 different LANs. We also have a completely networked High Speed Internet Access enabled Internet Centre equipped with multimedia facilities.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls housing nearly 400 students have been made. The hostel recreation rooms serve as leisure zones where students can unwind.
