LJIMS was established in the year 2001 under the aegis of Lok Jagruti Kendra Trust to conduct a two- year full-time MBA programme. It strives to create professionals who will lead the economy to a better tomorrow by path of ethics and vision. The Institute earlier was a postgraduate center of Gujarat University however from year 2010, as ordered by Govt of Gujarat, is associated with Gujarat Technological University and the programme is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
