Ahmedabad Physiotherapy College was found in the year 2009, having experience in education for more than 20 years. It began as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) with affiliation of the Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. In a span of three years, the institution was recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists, the IAP is a member organization of World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) and UGC under section of 2(f), UGC Act 1956. The College is also conducting two years Master of Physiotherapy course under Gujarat University since 2014.
In 2015, after establishment of Parul University by Govt. of Gujarat under private university act 2009, the college has been constituent college of Faculty of Physiotherapy at Parul University.
