	Other Details Civil Engineering Department established in 2008 offers a B.E. program with intake of 30 students our department has state of the art laboratory like concrete engineering, environment and water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, surveying, mechanics of solid, model room etc… One computer lab is also developed with internet for the use of students. We have always maintained a policy of providing students with state-of-the-art systems with regularly upgraded curriculum. The department offers various testing and consultancy in all respective divisions. Students of this department have been encouraged to attend and participate the different events held in other institutes and they are securing the success in the field. Prof.Y.S.Patel leads the department since its establishment. He join the institute since the starting of the institute. He has worked as backbone of the institute. 	Other Details The Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) established the Department of Computer Engineering in 1999. The Department of Computer Engineering offers undergraduate ‘Bachelor of Engineering’ degree that covers the entire spectrum of computing. It is a four year degree course affiliated to Gujarat Technological University of Ahmedabad, Gujarat with a total intake of 90 students.

	Other Details The Department of Mechanical Engineering affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, was established in 2001. The current enrollments are about 300 students. The department has started the Postgraduate Programme (Master of Engineering) with specialization in Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing. The department is facilitated with 15 full-time faculty members consisting 03 Associate Professors, 13 Assistant Professors and 06 technical supporting staff which reflects the veridical strength of the department. For developing and boosting the software & programming skill of the students, the department has incorporated with sophisticated CAD & CAM laboratories and has 12 laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and computing facilities. The personal counseling system is the pinnacle of the department. The campus recruitment program being conducted by the T & P cell is very an indispensable activity. The department is maneuvered to reveal excellence in preparing students for the success in their professional career through research, pragmatic instruction and community service under the direction of highly motivated, qualified faculties.
