Keeping the same in mind, JECRC UDML set-up its language lab.Among the finest in the State, the language lab at JECRC UDML is dedicated towards cultivating communication and language skills among the students. The college is also credited with the first digital language laboratory in the city.The lab reiterates the commitment of the college towards honing the oratory skills of the students. The lab sessions include voice recording of the students through a specialised software RENET. The recorded sample is then evaluated and assessed on various parameters such as fluency, pronunciation and speech clarity.Integral to the daily schedule of the students, these sessions help them get rid of their hesitation towards public speaking while greatly tuning and refining their quality of speech.

Hostel Facilities Available:We believe in giving the best facilities to our students, and our accommodation and lodging arrangements reflect the same.The hostels, facilitating interaction among the students from varied backgrounds and regions, provide ample opportunities for social, cultural as well as personal growth.There are separate buildings for boys and girls with an accommodation capacity of 220 and 90 respectively. The students can choose among two-tier or three-tier suiting their convenience and comfort. The annual hostel fees for two-tier rooms is ₹ 70,000 and that for three-tier is ₹ 65,000. Hot water taps and proper cooling & ventilation are integral to the fully-furnished rooms, with laundry facility also available to the students. The WiFi connectivity spread throughout the premises helps keeping in tune with the latest happenings of the world. Each hostel building is a self contained unit with hygienic and well kept dining halls.Giving due importance to leisure activities, each hostel houses a television equipped with a cable TV system and a stereo set along with provisions for a number of indoor games like table tennis, carrom board, etc.A hostel warden is employed round the clock who not only ensures the safety of the students but also looks into their grievances and complaints.
Placement Service Available: Taking care of the placement and training needs of the students is a dedicated Placement & Training Cell headed by Prof. Utpal Chakravarty, Dean, HR & Corporate Relations.While the cell enthusiastically fetches employment opportunities across various sectors and industries, it also pays attention to the Corporate-Institution bonding. The cell also assists the students with their summer internships, and closely monitors the training and project work being undertaken by the students in course of their internships.
