Gudlavalleru Engineering College (GEC), Krishna was established by the AANM & VVRSR Educational society. The aim of the college is to produce quality engineers by providing state-of-the-art Engineering education, to impart personality development skills to students that will help them to succeed and lead. The college has been recognized under 2(f) & 12 (B) Acts of UGC, New Delhi.
Library: Students should possess at least one text book for each subject of their study. It may be noted that library is not a provider of text books to students for their routine studies. Library is a reservoir of various sources of information and knowledge and students should utilize library as a source of additional information. They should cultivate the habit of studying in the library during library hours instead of leaving the college soon after the class work is over. All eligible SC/ST students should make use of the SC/ST book bank for their text books.

The college has established a Training and Placement Cell, Counseling and guiding of students, arranging project works in industries, industrial visits, industrial training during vacation, organizing campus interviews, providing job market information to students and necessary inputs to face the interviews, organizing Guest Lectures and Campus Selections, arranging industrial training for students, arranging industrial internships for faculty are some of the activities of the Training & Placement Cell.
