DPG Polytechnic 

D.P.G. Polytechnic shall be one of the well known Polytechnics in Haryana. The Polytechnic will be known for its excellent educational services, and complete development of students and teachers. The Polytechnic has well trained, experienced and fully devoted teaching staff, which put their best efforts for the progress of students and the Polytechnic. D.P.G. Polytechnic is providing career-oriented education to the students so as to equip them with requisite qualification and training. This will enable them to either take up a gainful employment or to start their own enterprise and become self-sufficient. The Institute is located on the outskirt of city, free from noise and pollution. It has adequate infrastructure to cater to the needs of courses being offered including a full-fledged library and computer centre. The Institute is presently running various Diploma programs of three year duration. The Courses have been recognized by Govt. of Haryana and AICTE. D.P.G. Polytechnic is multi-campus with modern infrastructural labs with all facilities for boys and girls and a well equipped library. Our aim is to make it a college of excellence and to improve the quality of technical education for the student community

Training and placement cell in the institution play an important role. It strives to organize relevant training to students & staff, it has been working diligently to secure final placement for student in the past years. 
The department roles and responsibilities:- 
Provide support and help to every student to define his/her career interest. 
Organise Special Trainings and Seminars on technological as well as managerial aspects. 
Provide placement assistance. 
Organises and Co-ordinates Campus Placement. 
Co-ordinate staff development activities 
Promote activities related to continuing education programmes
