Institute of Information Technology is run by All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society,which was established in 1917 by late Shri Shrimant Chattrapati Shahu Maharaj.All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Information Technology is affiliated with University of Pune and approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State.
AISSMS IoIT has average infrastructure which satisfies the need of engineering students. Labs are well-equipped. The campus is huge and boasts of a playground, basketball court, etc.
The Institute has established a full fledged Training & Placement Department, to encompass various activities from shaping the students to meet the stringent requirements of the Industry, and to make them suitable to excel in the highly competitive business world.
