Sreenivasa Institute of Technology and Management Studies (SITAMS) was founded during the academic year 1998-99 in line with the aims and aspirations of Sreenivasa Trust.
Library: The library remains open from 8:00 a.m. on all working days for the purpose of reference, issue and return transactions. At present, the Library has over 40,440 volumes, 5,033 Titles, it also subscribes to 272 Journals and 96 Magazines of India and overseas. The college has a policy of buying multiple copies of many of the books. Every effort is made to obtain all the titles recommended by the faculty. There is no budget approvals when it comes to buying books. The students need not be handicapped for want of reference material at any time. The Library have membership like IEEE, ACM, Institute of Engineers, DELNET and IETE.
Canteen: Food and refreshments are served for the hostellers in the college campus. Lunch for the day scholars is available at a nominal cost. A private canteen is also operating in the college premises for providing refreshments to the students and staff during working hours.
Hostel Facility
Exquisite means are provided for the students residing in the hostels. Hostels for the girls consists of three blocks, block I, block II, and block III. 26 spacious rooms are available in block I and 30 similar rooms are available in block II. The third block, the ground floor of which is designed for dining purpose and the upper floors are meant for hostel accommodation consists of 28 rooms. The total 84 rooms can accommodate more than 250 girl students on the basis of 3 girls per room.
The boys hostel which is located in the campus, Hostels for the boys consists of three blocks, block I, block II, and block III. 26 spacious rooms are available in block I and 30 similar rooms are available in block II. provides the accommodation for 120 male students on the basis of 3 boys per room.
A placement cell is established in this institution and it is taking active role in campus placements. Our students got campus placements in companies like M/s Syntel (India) Limited, Kyoeera Wireless Corporation (KWC, USA), Infosys, Wipro, TCS, VIRTUSSA, Tata Info, Samsung, Robert Bosch, DRDP, Accenture, MBT, Oracle, CTS, IBM, Getsalt Technologies, Goldstone Technologies, Godavari Paper Mills, M/s Sujala Pipes (P) Ltd., Nutrine Confectionery Company (P) Ltd., etc. through campus placements and placement assistance.
