Swami Ramananda Tirtha Institute of Science and Technology (SRTIST), Nalgonda was established in 1996 under Swami Ramananda Tirtha Educational Society with an intention of providing quality technical education to the students of the state in general and Nalgonda district & its surrounding areas in particular. It was the first engineering college in this district and one of the earliest private affiliated colleges of JNTU.
Library: The college has well established Library with books of various disciplines and is being continuously expanded by procuring latest books every year. It has well ventilated vast reading section. This library has 6094 titles and over 47938 volumes. It is also equipped with important journals and essential study materials.
It has subscription for 132 National and 218 International Journals. In addition to these it has 300 e-journals. To fulfill the commitment of providing every student and teacher with an access to the latest and advanced Information on scientific & Technological breakthroughs, the Digital Library facility is provided. Through Digital Library one can have quick and ready access to various national and international Science Journals and other Resources and browse through all the information at the Rate of 4 Mbps. More than 2000 international journals are available in the Digital Library.
Cafeteria: Extra care in providing hygienic and nutritive food at subsidized rates in its cafeteria.
Computer centre: The students are privileged to have access to our state-of-the-art computer laboratories, which are home to over 700 computers (HCL, HP & Zenith make), 10 servers, 25 printers with a dedicated network.
Hostel Facility
SRTIST Provides the hostel facility for the out station boys and girls in the town. Girls hostel is maintained by the college itself and the boys are accommodated in private hostels with homely atmosphere. Separate Hostels for boys and girls have been provided with spacious and well furnished Rooms.
SRTIST’s Training, Placement and Development Cell plays a critical role in networking graduating students with the industry. It prepares the students for the process of recruitment and simultaneously create awareness among companies about the recruitment opportunities at SRTIST. Potential recruiters are given structural support for scheduling interviews, hosting seminars, group discussions and written tests.
