UPDATE PHOTOS of Shivaji University : Department of Journalism and Communication

The Department of Journalism & Communication Science, established in 1968, is one of the oldest in the University. Shivaji University was the foremost university in India to start Journalism Course in the University during its inception years. The Department has upgraded the one year Certificate Course in Journalism to a full-fledged post graduate Bachelor’s Degree Course in 1987.The Masters Degree in Journalism & Communication Science (MJC) was started in 1996. The Ph.D. programme was started in 1999 and M. Phil programme in 2005. At present it has three staff members- two Readers and one Lecturer in selection grade. All of them have secured Ph.D. degrees.
