Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pimpri, Pune, was established as Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Women's College of Engineering in July, 1998.The college is converted into Co-education College with a changed name as Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology, Pimpri, Pune from the academic year 2002-2003.
The Institute has well-equipped laboratories with ultra modern facilities supported by highly qualified teaching faculty in all branches catered to by the institute.
Library: The Central Library is furnished with reference books, text books, national and international journals and internet facility as a part of informal teaching.
Computer Centre
The central computer centre has structured networking and server with adequate number of terminals. All the software required for academic purposes and day to day work are available. The peripherals like printer, scanner, speakers, CD-ROM drive, web cam also available.
Hostel Facility
Separate hostel accommodation is available for the boys and girls in close vicinity of the college. Rooms are well furnished. The hostel has canteen, mess, STD facility, TV room, medical facility and even an ATM.
Training & Placement Cell headed and supported by highly qualified teaching faculty is in close liaison with industry and is operational in shaping careers and future of the students.
