IMT Nagpur, in spite of being only a decade old, has already been able to make a distinct mark among the crowded B-School environment in India. We probably are the youngest to consistently feature among top B-Schools, according to the various B-School ranks in India, over the last few years. Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur has a fully Wi-Fi campus which has been meticulously designed to conform to world standards. The "Hot Zone" created by wireless LAN provides students with wireless accessibility at any place within the campus. A rich intranet bandwidth allows the students and the faculty to interact in a totally different environment to create a new and vibrant academic milieu. The internet connectivity is through 16 (1:2) Mbps fiber link & 25 (1:1) Mbps through Micro Wave. The IT resource centre is divided into three sections of 61 desktops each. These three sections are being used as online classrooms for teaching the IT course and as a common computing facility for other course.
Hostel Facility
The academic programmes offered at IMT-N are fully residential. Hence to take care of the accommodation needs of the incumbent students, IMT-N has set up ultra-modern hostel facilities, both for men and women. The hostels, again in tune with the goals of IMT-N, facilitate and imbibe a culture of sharing, caring, and learning.
Scholarship Facility
IMT Nagpur offers institutional scholarships to the students every year. These scholarships include the 'Institute Day Merit Scholarship' and the 'Late Mahendra Nath Merit cum Means Scholarship' which amounts to approximately 10-12 Lakhs of Rupees every year. Scholarships' Award is an annual event that aims to recognize exceptional individual students who have shown noteworthy excellence in academia.
Placements form an integral part of any b-school. Here at IMT, Nagpur we ensure better placements for all by having a dedicated placement committee comprising of students selected after a transparent and impartial process. Though the placement scenario is driven by students they are continuously monitored and supervised by the Chairperson.
